[Did.....did his hand just disappear?

Vaati stared in horror at the changed boy, edging backwards slightly- he didn't like the look of the thing that had replaced Tobias' hand, he didn't want it anywhere near him if he could help it. So much for the conversation they'd been having....it had just led to another freak out, and it didn't look like one that could be fixed with a chocolate cake.

He didn't want to admit it, but Tobias now looked scary.]
