It is in the nature of those without power to fear those who have it. Nor is that fear unjustified.

[Because how many stories of people with power doing good and noble deeds has anyone heard, compared to tyrants and monsters committing atrocities? Well, if you're the Valkyrie, more than most -- and it's still a ludicrously small number.]
